No longer working after just 3 weeks

The fridge/freezer worked well on LPG gas for 3 weeks till I had to change the gas cylinder. It relit ok and the pipes on the rear heated up as expected but the fridge didn’t cool or freeze. Tried several times even using 240v electricity but still the same result. No cooling or freezing. I am beginning to think the unit wasn’t new as there is damage to the fins inside and on the back. Finally and most frustratingly it has been impossible to get a response from Smad. I’ve spent over £1200 on this fridge and there isn’t even a telephone number to call. Totally unacceptable
